Italy ~ From Statues to River Cities

Are there words to describe Italy? Spectacular, beautiful, historic, awe inspiring? Yes, and much more!
Rome is unbelievable with all the cathedrals and monuments and of course, Vatican City. Which by the way is actually a country of it's own.
Florence is another place of awe. The paintings and of course, the statue of David. Then, not to be left out, are the islands of Italy!
Venice, anyone? Also a must see. A wealth of art and canals. The most famous site is the Bridge of Sighs. The name comes from the fact is was part of the Doge's Palace prison, and convicts had to cross it to go from the interrogation rooms to the New Prison once they were sentenced. It was the sighs that were heard as they crossed the bridge. So many sites to be seen, and don't forget the Gondola ride through the canals.

I believe everyone should explore the world, take photos, make memories, and say yes to the adventures that make your heart race.
